Savoring Tradition, One Pedha at a Time
Some sweets are more than just desserts—they are pieces of heritage.

In the historic town of Dharwad in Karnataka, a humble sweet made from slow-cooked milk has captured hearts for generations. Dharwad Pedha is known for its deep caramelized flavour, grainy texture, and the craftsmanship required to prepare it just right.
For decades, this delicacy remained closely tied to its place of origin. Those who travelled through Dharwad carried boxes home as treasured gifts, while many others only heard stories about its unmistakable taste.
At Mishtanna, we believe that timeless sweets like Dharwad Pedha deserve to be experienced by everyone, not just those who live nearby.
Our mission is simple — to preserve the authenticity of traditional sweets while making them accessible to sweet lovers everywhere.
Using carefully perfected recipes and modern packaging technology, we ensure that every pedha you receive delivers the same richness, freshness, and nostalgia as if it were enjoyed in Dharwad itself.

Founder Story
Adarsh Mutha
Mishtanna began as the vision of Adarsh Mutha, a passionate admirer of India’s rich tradition of sweets.
With a strong academic foundation in Hotel Management and Catering Technology from the Maharashtra State Institute of Hotel Management, Pune,
Adarsh combined professional culinary knowledge with a deep appreciation for traditional Indian mithai.
Adarsh combined professional culinary knowledge with a deep appreciation for traditional Indian mithai.
Over the years, he noticed that many regional sweets were loved locally but rarely travelled far beyond their hometowns. Dharwad Pedha, despite its legendary reputation, was still difficult for many sweet lovers across the country to experience.
Driven by the desire to share this iconic delicacy with a wider audience, Adarsh founded Mishtanna.
